Hi all,
Well, I’m back from my short break and ready to get cracking again! As you can imagine, my better half insisted that I leave all my work behind—but I did manage to sneak my sketchbook into my luggage. So, for a change, I thought I’d share some of my concept art with you.
Concept Art of the New Hag Models

Before starting a new model, I often sketch it out first. Above is the concept art for the new Blue Orc Hag that I’ll be working on next—after I finish the Shadow Lands Troll, my current project.
In case you’re wondering why Hags are so different from your typical Green Snorts (female Orcs). They’ve been warped by their mothers consuming too much raw magic, which turns them blue and renders them infertile. On the flip side, they’re gifted with a natural affinity for magic. Furthermore, because Hags can’t bear young, they never grow to the colossal sizes of their green sisters. They don’t need to be carried around in magical carts either, and are quite capable of getting around on their own two feet.
Shadow Lands Troll
Just a little update on the Shadow Lands Troll: I’ve now finished creating their base model sheet, as you can see below. This means the main structure and measurements are done, and I’m now moving on to creating the different variants—such as faces, cuts, scars, rocks, weapons, clothes (decorations), and three distinct arm positions.

I expect the Troll will take another two weeks to finish. 3D-style models just take a lot longer to make, and I also need to create a set of instructions for them—which eats into my time, but it’s absolutely necessary for the more complex builds.
That’s it from me today—until next time, take care!
