Hi everyone,
Here’s your first look at House Auterex of the Vampires of Evernight:
Out of all the Houses of Evernight, where some are cruel, wild or even chivalrous, House Auterex would strike any outsider as quite ordinary. They have their lords and ladies who rule over their people, with a fare hand compared to the other houses. However, they hide a secret…
This Great Family of Evernight are the masters of shape shifting and mimicking others’ forms. They have been known to turn into wolves to scour ahead of their main force to gather intelligence on their enemies. Or transform into wild savage bears, to tear down city gates. Also, rather impressively, their kin are the only vampires who can fly, by turning themselves in to bats.
Also this house’s abilities make this family excellent spies and assassins, and will often employ their gifts to advance their house’s goals in Evernight. Furthermore, Auterext Vampires have been known to venture out in beyond Evernight’s borders to sell their services to other races as accomplished spies and assassins.
Here is a House Auterex’s Blessings:
Here is a Auterex Lord Stats:
Thanks for popping by 🙂
December 17, 2018 at 8:09 pm #1320ThomasParticipantIs the “direwolf” ability just a placeholder?
The reason I mention this is that I did have an idea for an ability
“Wolf in sheep’s clothing”
Lord model only
The vampire has spent munch time infiltrating the enemy force to get closer to the enemies heart.
At the start of the game this model may benefit from the rules for scouting instead as detailed on page ** of the Three plains rule book. Additionally for the first turn any enemy model wishing to shoot at this piece must re-roll hits as they are still dumbstruck at the betrayal.- This reply was modified 6 years ago by Thomas.
December 17, 2018 at 9:08 pm #1322DaveKeymasterNothings set in stone at the moment mate.
I really like your idea. Maybe we could attach it on to the ‘Mimic’ ability?
December 17, 2018 at 11:09 pm #1323ThomasParticipantYeah you could do if you want.
They match very wellDecember 18, 2018 at 8:26 am #1324DaveKeymasterCool I will add it in then and see how it goes then.
December 18, 2018 at 5:50 pm #1327ThomasParticipantThe only other thing I can think of is that Vampires have been stereotypically been able to transform into a winged half bat vampire creature.
It would essentially work like a flying vampire in terms of stats and abilities.
(Like the picture featured here)
Also wow, they can ride nightmares wow that’s cool

I forgot about that ability. The Vampires in Skyrim spring to mind, would you say that is right?
Anyway, I might argue that its not a true transformation, as the Vampire is not really turning into something else, but rather showing its true evil form instead. So with that said we could look at giving that ability to house Vilemail, as they are in touch with their evil side and could have the power to channel their inner demon and turn into their true form. What do you think?
Yeah, I Imagine House Auterex being the Edgelords of Evernight, and riding a Nightmare I think really suits that look 8)
December 18, 2018 at 10:21 pm #1330ThomasParticipantFair enough. I’m just trying to think of another ability to replace this “Dire wold 50pts” lol
Also I meant to post this link before
