The Americans have their M1 Abrams tank, the Japanese have their katana swords, and we Brits have the longbow—all cutting-edge technology of their time.
Well, the Orcs have their Great Saw Blade.
To the untrained eye, it might look like—(and it is!)—a heap of rusty scrap metal, crudely hammered and pinned together with bent metal chunks, all leading to a razor-sharp cutting edge—basic but deadly. But to the Green Skins, it is a jaw-dropping piece of brutal technology.
Orcs will spend their entire lives collecting bits of scrap metal, all in the hope of one day forging their own Great Saw Blade. They dream of wielding one, picturing themselves cleaving through enemies. If they do finally manage to get one, they will spend countless hours sharpening, fixing, and fantasising about the death and destruction they will unleash with their new toy.
Anyway, I’ll stop rambling and get back to the update on the Saws armed with their Great Saw Blades.
I’ve just finished their front designs, and next week, I’m hoping to complete their backs, which shouldn’t take too long. Its looking like their new models will be dropped in the next two weeks.
Not much else to talk about this week, as I’ve spent all my spare time working on the Saws.
