Hi all,
Well, my progress on the Iron Mother is going well, although slowly, especially with me going on holiday in the meantime. As you can see below, I now have most of the print sheets done.

I still have a long way to go, however. As I’ve said before, I want the model maker to have plenty of add-ons so they can customise their model. For instance, I’ll probably create at least three different faces and bodies to go with the download. I may even get time to create some jewellery, allowing the model maker to customise their Iron Mother even further.
What I Did Get Finished
While on holiday, I managed to sneak my laptop away with me and work on the three new Special Characters. The good news is that they are now finished, complete with backstories and special rules, and they are:
Iron Queen Gressle the Crusher
Young, ambitious and utterly ruthless, Gressle the Crusher is the current Iron Queen of the Shadow Lands. Her bloody rise to power has taken her from an ambitious young Snort to ruler of the Orc race, crushing rivals and enemies alike along the way. Gressle is a powerful battlefield commander who represents the brutal might and ambition of the Shadow Land Orcs.
The Shadow Walker
No one truly knows who—or even what—the Shadow Walker is. This mysterious Blue Hag appears from the mist and shadows without warning, unleashing powerful Chaos Magic before disappearing just as suddenly. Armed with her poisoned Bone Shredders, she is just as dangerous up close, tearing into enemy ranks before melting back into the darkness. Even the Orcs themselves know little about her, and perhaps that is for the best…
Here is some rough concept art for her:

Gronk the Tree Hugger
Gronk and Tree are an unlikely but inseparable pair—a mighty Orc Brute and the enormous Troll he calls his best mate. Gronk rides into battle upon Tree’s back, chained securely around his neck, stabbing and hacking at anything within reach while Tree smashes his way through the enemy ranks with terrifying strength. Together, they combine the cunning and brutality of an experienced Brute with the raw destructive power of a Shadow Lands Troll, making the pair a formidable sight on any battlefield.
Content-wise, that means the Shadow Lands Orc Codex is now complete! I just need to read through it a few more times to correct the spelling and grammar, improve the flow, and make sure all the lore and rules match up properly.
Btw, I won’t be creating the new character models, but I might do in the future.
Anyway, as always, thanks for reading, and any thoughts or comments are always welcome.
Take care,
Dave
